Members of CARHA have worked with the Park Service since December of 1994. We have worked at Chickamauga-Chattanooga (Chickamauga, Lookout Mountain and Orchard Knob), Stones River, Corinth, Shiloh, Cow Pens, Kings Mountain, Battle Of Ninety-six, SC, Chalmette (Battle of New Orleans) and Guilford Court House. We can now add the Battle of Horseshoe Bend, Franklin, TN and Kennesaw, GA to that list.

Mexico
James had Flat Stanley or Alien Bob, that is a class project for his daughter, that he posed in various locations. Here, most folks seem to be trying to drink enough weak beer to be able to eat the goat they ordered. Kevin is a vegetarian, imagine trying to eat in Texas and Mexico then!
Of course, what is going to Mexico without a little dress up fun. Here, Randy becomes the Bandito.
Everyone relaxing as they wait for several members of our group to return from an ATM search just before we headed back closer to the border.
Wednesday
Randy
and Kevin went to visit the remains of the original fort. Not much is left, a few hundred feet of earthworks that borders a golf course and the levee next to the Rio Grande River.
So ended our 2006 Palo Alto Adventure
Well, except that Randy and I got stuck at the Brownsville airport for almost four hours due to a security breach at the Houston airport. We got home over five hours late but we got home.
